Enhance Capabilities to Meet the Global Demand of Medical Rubber Products
Challenge
Equip member companies of one of the world's leading country supplier of medical rubber products during the COVID-19 pandemic. What are the requirements to competitively prequalify as a global supplier?
Approach
- Training and Capacity Building: Conduct introductory sessions to the programs and processes of international funding institutions, its priorities, and priority markets. Co-organized with the trade promotion agency and invited targeted companies to refine understanding and address any challenges they have been facing.
- Assessment of Funding Opportunities and Prequalification Process: Define key countries and reviewed specific opportunities and prequalification process and requirements - e.g., registration, licensing, and technical specifications. A top line review of health projects and IFI procurement strategies guided TPA and member companies address capacity gaps, i.e., TPA provided funding support to member companies to improve capacity and meet IFI requirements.
- Pipeline of Opportunities for Trade Mission Support: Provided pipeline of opportunities which TPA can support companies monitor and pursue in the short and medium-term. Advised TPA and companies on approach with budget owners and procuring agents.
